Story and History

PERSONALITY:

The Tenno, at the root of her character, is a teenager. A very mature teenager, in some respects, but a teenager all the same. Having survived the Void with all the other children of the Zariman Ten Zero, she had to witness she death of her parents and all the rest of the crew. This left a lingering impact on her mental state, making it difficult to grow attached to anyone. Especially after the manifestation of the Zariman children’s Void powers, which they were unable to control and resulted in the death or mutilation of anyone that came into contact with them.

She suffers from, at least, a small guilt complex. She’s fully aware that any time someone tried to help the Zariman children, someone was hurt, and there was nothing any of them were able to do about it. It was only made worse when Margulis was executed through the use of the Jade Light. If anything, this left the Tenno a bit more bitter towards those who weren’t her fellow Tenno.

Many of her memories are, unfortunately for her, missing following her sudden removal from the Second Dream. Bit and pieces of fractured memories are recovered, showing her to be confident and honorable. Or as much as she can be. As the Orokin trained them all, she took up the sword for the sake of defending innocents, knowing what it felt like to be helpless. She also had some compassion for the Orokin, the ones that actually tried to help the orphaned Tenno. Despite everything, the Tenno tried to live honorably and help those she saw as needing her aid. Even if they meant being little more than a mercenary.

On the rare occasion that she does become attached to someone, it hurts her a great deal to suffer some kind of betrayal. Even then though, she tries to see what good is still there in some naïve trust left over by the child she was forced to give up being.

The Tenno has a skill at empathizing with others after her own trauma. In the words of Ballas: “And it was not their force of will – not their Void devilry – not their alien darkness… it was something else. It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken, thing-- And take away its pain.” This is thanks to their own experience, an earlier incident having them tell the Lotus that they (all of the Zariman orphans) were “dangerous, broken”. Margulis had done for them as she did for one Warframe (Umbra) and showed compassion and empathy.

Despite their loner nature, that Tenno is actually quite terrified of being abandoned (again) or rejected. She, thankfully, has the constant companionship of her ships Cephalon Ordis, despite his glitchy nature, as the aid of different factions on the relays but Ordis and the Lotus are the closest she has to family.

They do have a devious streak though that can slip out, however much they try to be the reliable and strong Tenno. After all, they were just a child when they were lost in the Void. There’s also a great deal she never had a chance to learn, leaving her with a thirst for knowledge and throwing herself at any opportunity to learn or solve some kind of mystery. Like the mystery of the Limbo Warframe.

There’s also a bit of a temper under it all. She has never fully let go of her anger of the Orokin executing Margulis. And, when searching for Ballas and Lotus, she angrily demanded of the Orokin where Lotus was as he lay dying. Even going so far as to mock him, telling him to squirm like the maggot he is. She holds grudges, not over petty things but if the impact to her life, or the life of someone she cares about, is great enough, very little in the universe can quell that anger. Her temper always jumps forward whenever she’s called a child, lashing out at Teshin before the Elder Queen tried to make the Tenno her Yuvan.

POWER:

Warframe Transference: The Tenno, through the power of Transference and a somatic link, is able to take control/possess large frames of what appear to be armor. Each warframe has its own strengths and weaknesses. (To this effect, Tenno will arrive in a single waframe, Zephyr Prime). Warframes can be enhanced through the use of a limited number of mods and cannot have more than one of a mod equipped to it at a given time.

Void powers: This is channeled, safely, through the use of an AMP. The abilities that this allows the Tenno Operator to use are

• Void Beam
Primary Fire
The Operator's default power, the Void Beam is a continuous energy beam fired from their right hand that extends up to 20 meters, which deals roughly 2,000 Void damage per second to the target with a 1-meter radius of its impact point, with a 1.5x multiplier on critical hits. The Void Beam is silent and will not alert enemies, however Void Mode will be deactivated while firing.

• Void Blast
Quick Melee
The Void Blast is a cone-shaped area-of-effect attack which knockbacks all targets in 4-meter radius and deals 200 Void damage, the damage diminishes with range.

• Void Dash
Bullet Jump
Void Dash is a mobility power that launches the Operator towards the direction of aim for 12 meters, which will damage and knockback any targets in range. It can be used to bypass Corpus laser barriers or Grineer sensor bars.

• Void Mode
Void Mode turns the Operator incorporeal and thus invisible to enemies and various sensors (but not Corpus laser barriers or Grineer sensor bars), while also protecting them from any incoming damage, including fall damage and Status Effects.

Zephyr/Prime: An Orokin upgraded version of Zephyr, providing the Warframe with higher armor, energy, and sprint speed compared to the standard variant. It also absorbs and distributes energy to other Warframes when struck by an Orokin Void Death Orb rather than… dying.

Standard abilities are:

• Tail Wind: From the ground, charge and release to launch Zephyr into an airborne hover. From the air, tap to dash forward, or aim down to dive bomb enemies below.

• Air Burst: Generate a burst of massively dense air that explodes on contact and sends enemies flying. Launch Airbursts into Tornadoes to make them grow.

• Turbulence: Creates a wind shield around Zephyr, redirecting all incoming projectiles.

• Tornado: Create deadly tornadoes that seek out and engulf enemies. Tornadoes deal the elemental damage type they absorb the most. Shoot enemies engulfed in Tornadoes to do additional damage.

Also, all warfarmes are incredibly acrobatic. This includes being able to bullet jump, double jump, and sprint. Zephyr, after bullet jumping, tends to glide downward rather than landing hard and fast, allowing the Tenno to cross greater distances than other Warframes.

Personal reference: Tenno is roughly 5’ 9”
Zephyr(Prime) is roughly 6’ 2”
